Can anyone share some advise on how much trouble/time to change gear shaft due to fall. Shaft snapped aprox 14mm out from engine case. :???:

Bummer! If you would have dropped it on the other side, I'd be able to help you out. I have a brake pedal sitting in my garage.

I have heard of this before. The motor has to be removed from bike and engine dismantled. It won't be covered by warranty and will run into thousands. you say there is 14mm still protruding. i would be tempted to see someone who welds alloy and see if the broken bit can be welded back in place.
