Installed the TOR system today and noticed the mufflers come with new gaskets but the bypass pipe does not....So I was forced to get the old gasket from the Cat and place it in the bypass pipe that fits to the headers. There is now a small leak and it seems to be in there perfect and tight.

Anyone know if they sell a new bypass to header gasket? The worse part is I will have to take it all apart again just to put that new gasket in!

You can buy new gaskets from Triumph. I would give a little time and see if it fixes itself. Ride hard for a while then let it idle and get good and hot. The gaskets may reconform for you.

had the same issue. if the mesh gasket was mangled a bit in the removal it won't fix itself and just keep leaking....had to buy one from the dealer.

Yep...the dealer ordered one and it should be in thursday or friday...basically gotta do the whole job ALL over again! And I have to wait to get the tune done which I planned on having done yesterday...I really think they should give a new gasket with the bypass pipe just like they do with the new mufflers...

Buy a Tuneboy while you wait for your parts. This way you won't ever have to go to the dealer for ECU updates. I am sure once you get the new tune on you won't be happy with the farting and backfiring on decel so you will probably end up doing it anyway.

I got mine here...http://newr3.com/html/tuneboy.html

How easy is it to use one of those? Do I need a laptop for it?

It isn't hard to use as far as loading maps. To do more than that you want Pig9r's, Toystoretom, Dougl, etc.. help, they are our local experts with a Tuneboy . As far as a laptop you do need computer access to use the Tuneboy as it is nothing more than software running on a Windows PC using a USB cable to connect to the bike's OBD2 interface.

How bad does it run with the retune from the dealer...i really dont mind a little pop on decel so long as it runs like the freight train she is!

also should I put the K&N air filter in before the tune or will that screw things up?

It runs fine with the Triumph tune and will pull like a freight train, it just pops and farts when decelerating without any throttle. You can put it on before or after, the tune doesn't care. Now if you were getting it dyno tuned that would be another story, do it before.
