Foward pegs using stock bracket

Anyone ever try adding "clamp-on" pegs to the stock bracket just forward of the brake and shift pedals?

I'm thinking that it could allow for a little more leg stretch.

tried rivco mounts and pegs on the bar but they just got in the way of the brake/shifter etc. went with the rivco engine guard and mounted on it....
