Hello everyone. I just bought a Rocket 3 Classic Cruiser today with 412 miles on it (it was a demo) and my clutch seems a little slippery at wide open throttle. I have done a search and it seems like to could be a clutch cable issue. How do I adjust that?

Thanks...

a. see Dealer and b. what do you mean wide open throttle on a bike with less than 500 miles. and c. never mind b just way too old and overly careful to ever experience wide open throttle to see if my clutch feels slippery.

Bike was broken in (demo) and serviced by the dealer the day I picked it up...

Did they replace the clutch in this bike?

I did see that they had an '06 or '07 (demo) with the clutch pulled from it about a month or so ago. Just wondering if this is the bike.

they did not mention that....I will ask today as I am going to swing by and get it looked at. I think it seems to be the cable on it.

Good Deal.
I'm sure Dave can handle that quit quickly.

If they did not mention a new clutch being put on your bike, then it was a different bike all together.

Just went up to MCC and Dave came right out and adjusted the cable. It seems to have made a big difference and the bike now feels almost perfect. I gotta ride it a little more to see what I think. Maybe Geoff will let me take out another R3 and compare...
