Yesterday I parked my bike in a garage. After sitting there for a minute there was a strong smell as if wires were burning.
Has anyone had this smell or the same problem.

I do. In the garage and out. I've decided its not ghosts or my neurosis, but things cooking on the manifold/pipes, i.e. road insects, pieces of my clothing which touched the hot metal, etc.

Yes.. I had a very bad burning smell for a while too. It turned out to be a June bug that got caught under the exhaust manifold shields.
