I'm looking for an aftermarket solo seat that will afford me a bit more legroom on my Rocket than the stocker. It's hard to tell from pictures, but it seems that the Metcruze and Corbins may allow you to sit a bit further back. Anybody have any firsthand experiences they can share? Thanks.

I had the metcruze fastback seat. The good news, it looked good and was well made. The bad news, the front of the seat scooped up quite a bit toward your crotch. It really locked you into the bike, giving you very little wiggle room to move around on longer trips. I actually liked it for short trips,
because I felt I was in the bike instead of on it, and could really attack corners and twisties. About 150 miles was my comfort level with it though, so I sold it last year. I now have
The Corbin Young Guns seat. Nice looking, overpriced uncomfortable piece cr*p. I can't go over 50 miles without
severe back pain. Comfort cell my a**. I know people say corbin is a love em or hate em seat. Count me in the hate them camp. Might as well ride the frame. It has convinced me to give up the cool look and I am having my stock seat redone by Russell Day-Long. That's my 2 cents.

I had the stock seat for only a couple of weeks before I got a Corbin dual tour. The stock seat is non-descript when it comes to support. You sit on it. With the Corbin, you sit in it.

I'm pretty sure Corbin will make a seat to your specification. You should talk to Corbin and ask them how far back they can move you.

The Corbin seat I have seems to add about an inch of room more to slide back into.

I've got the Corbin Dual tour and love it. You can get it with both driver and passenger back rests, but I opt'ed to do away with the driver backrest which will give you about another inch or so of room. It worked out good for me.
