Does anyone know anybody that can work on the rocket, minus Erico or Foothills here in Denver or surrounding metro areas? I'd heard horror storeys about Foothills service department long before I bought the rocket, and believe it or not they were still the first place I called before buying, talked to a British gentleman named Mike or Matt I think? and was very politely told I would receive a call back as soon as possible? the call never came, so I called back and talked to someone different, and was told the same thing and the same thing happened again, no call back? so no faith in foothills. I delt with ERICO, now I have my own HORROR storeys :brk: I'd appreciate any in-fo that might help. thanks

Yeti,,I feel your pain,Its a sad situation down there..Is there a dealer in Colo. Springs?? Every time dealers fail to fix a problem It should be reported to triumph america. Can't they just put the stock tune in it and start over..When there selling u bikes or parts they never seem to mess up.If they would pay the techs a living wage, mabey they could keep one long enough to learn what the hell there doing. Sorry I can't help more...Jack :hammer:

I'm sharing my personal experience , not relying on hearsay.
If I shared my personal experience with triumph america they would close them down. Have you ever seen Kevin work on a bike??Hes the paid mouth that can't answer any of my questions..What you had done they can train monkeys to do..Why can't they fix YETIs bike ?? Ignorance is bliss. Hearsay begins with personal experience.. :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Just for your own knowledge davidhp57, I called Foothills last Friday morning, to see if they new anything about custom mapping the PCIII or tuneboy, without telling them anything about the problems that I'm having, I was told that they did but could they (please call me back) later that afternoon because they were very busy at that moment? of course I said, first thing Saturday morning I called them back, and once again the person that knew what I was asking about was busy again, could he please (call me later that afternoon) they said, Well its now 1:30 pm Monday and still no call back?????? all fairness David, they wouldn't even call me back to sell me a bike back when I was looking at the rocket for the first time. Are you sure you don't have a soft spot in your heart for Foothills, being that they called you one day and told you that you won your rocket for free through the triumph contest?? now if Erico called me with that news, I'd might not be feeling as bad about the service that Ive received, MAYBE? kit:

Matt at foot hills is ok. after i removed catbox, i swung by foothills and matt put new tune for me while i waited. thay seemed very busy at the time. ....I really feel for anyone who gets the shaft from dealer on service work or warranty stuff. have friend with guzzi from erico, is not happy with service dept. had his bike 3 times for same electric prob. and no fix! he paid extra for loaner bike program, and thay told him to take one of there vespa scooters home, last time thay had his bike for 3 days without fix!

If you would take the time to search posts instead of attempting to impugn my intelligence or integrity you might learn something. I have been riding for over thirty years, done most of my maintenance myself, but when warranty work is required I searched for a knowledgable service manager. Kevin at Foothills is one such guy.

So KMA busajack

I'm not one to post much here as I prefer another forum and frankly I could give a rats butt about Foothills or foot long or whatever but you obviously have little intelligence, grammatical wherewithal or common courtesy. Impugn? what the hell is that other than a term attorneys and politicans use to mystify the masses. KMA busajack....Rocket Captain's don't insult each other like that. It's more like EMD. I see that you won your Rocket3 or at least that's what seems to be printed here. If you'd paid for it, maybe you'd have a bit more manners.
