yeah, i'm the same guy posting about ape hangers, but its too much work (+$) to extend cables so...
Can anyone suggest a type of bar that will stretch back to provide more comfort? I've got Rivco risers on alos.
thanks

PS: fitted rivco engine bars and pegs last week- much more comfortable!

Why dont you get some made .Make em from polished stainless to your own design or go to a custom shop .They probably wouldnt be as expensive as on the shelf items :hammer:

I don't think you want true "beach" bars. They turn hands too far sideways which isn't good for low-speed handling or long-distance comfort either one. On a Rocket they might even be hard to keep a good grip on during max acceleration.

At least one person here has used a standard Road King bar which you're probably familiar with since you list owning a RK and might even have the oem bar laying around. Its plain vanilla touring shape should work very well if you need something just a bit more pulled back than the stock Rocket bar but nothing radical. As for cable implications the guy who uses one on his Rocket would need to chime in about that, but doesn't look like it'd take a whole lot.

You can get some harley 1" bars and the styles are endless, but it sounds like you would like some Heritage or Dresser bars, sit on one of those bikes and see if they will work for you if not adjust up from there..
