Its still early in the year, but does anybody have a great way to get the smashed bugs off? Other then elbow grease.

Wet towel, place over bugs, (drink a beer) repeat (drink another beer) until they let go.

Elbow grease = scratches

I ride so fast that the bugs vaporize on impact. :-D

I thought this was BS but it really works....take a dryer sheet, "bounce" works well. Quickly dip it in a bucket of clean water and then just wipe the bugs right off....no elbow grease required....

I live in Okeechobee FL where in May and September, the "love bugs" swarm.....

I used to dread "chiseling" the bugs off my steed, but the dryer sheets make life a little easier in that regard.

I use nano wax spray. You can get it anywhere. Cuts bugs good with little effort. I believe Eagle makes it.

+1 on wet towel and beer. Usually works better if you do it right when you finish ride and bugs still fresh. Works great on florida lovebugs.

This stuff also works really well.

Bugs B Gone

Bike needs to be cool and out of sun to use it per instructions. Think spray bottle is about $7 at auto parts stores. Even takes off old dried love bugs.

Good old drugstore hydrogen peroxide H2O2 works the best, especially on windshields where you don't want to scrub 'cause it may scratch.

Just dampen a towel with H2O2 and apply it to the bugs, let it sit for a few minutes (do it in the shade) and hose off. The H2O2 dissolves the bugs bones, if you will, turning them to goop. Easily removed goop.
