I just sold my 01' Legend.
I am looking at a 05' Rocket 111. it has been wrecked. everything has been fix and you can not tell where it has be repaired, they did a good job.
My question is it will need the speedo and tach. to make it complete. does anyone know how much they will cost new or used, and if anyone has a set for sale.
they are asking 7,500.00 for it, don't know how many miles is on it but the tires are the ones that came on it, it looks like they have about 1,500 miles on them do you think this is a good price. thanks Ron

hey ronniena, sounds like a fair price but remember looks can be deceiving, there are a lot of talented techs out there who do a very good and honest job, there are also a lot of techs who are very talented at making bad repairs look good. the reason I'm mentioning this is because were talking about a bike that some owners wouldn't even patch or repair a new rear tire, even if it only had 50 miles on it, because of the torque the bike produces, it might be something to think about. and Jimbeamrye, I think has a good point about the extra 7000.00, people fall hard for these bikes, I know I did and once you buy the used one you may find yourself spending 5,6,7000.00$ to get the bike up to code if the repairs weren't done right, just something to think about, good luck.

Yeah to me it's a little fishy they're trying to sell a "repaired" bike lacking some of the pricier parts they can't patch up or fudge on.
