Quote from Magazine: 2007 Triumphs to be released at the September 26, 2006 unveiling in Los Angeles include a revised 132bhp Speed Triple with the old Roulette Green paint; 865cc engine in the America; and some new colors and trim changes for the rest of the line. The new 1050cc Tiger gets radial brakes, USD forks, roughly 460 lbs. (claimed) but overall looks like a Yamaha FZ clone | Triumph touring bike based on the Rocket III will be released in the U.S.A. as a 2007 model, probably on September 26, 2006 at the Triumph new model unveiling in Los Angeles only 2,000 Rocket III's reported sold so far in the U.S. since its introduction

Anyone have info on this event?? I hate being in the dark all the time! :hammer:

I was in for service yersterday and asked my dealer about a touring model. He told me the Rocket will be available early next year with hard bags, shield, floorboards and other touring stuff. It will be introduced as a 2008 touring model. He expects a touring package, leather bags (current stuff) to be available as a package on the up coming 2007's. He said that all he had seen of the hard bag model was a drawing. Who knows for sure?

My dealer told me the same thing, must be some truth to it?
