I just finished riding approximately 150 miles on my R/3. About 20 miles from home the bike just would not idle and started to backfire when down shifting. The bike has about 3000 miles on it and has always ran perfect. I am running Jardines and a Power Commander. I let it set for few minutes, took it out and topped off the tank and now it seems fine. Temp was about 80 degrees and bike was manufactured in 9/04. I have read all of the articles on recommended fixes and dealers lack of cures. Should I even bother to contact the dealer for a re-map or just consider myself one of the unlucky ones. I know this problem is like beating a dead horse, but thought I would see if there is anything new. :evil:
