Does anyone have a TTS supercharger? I am interested
in getting one and have questions. Any info would be helpful.

You've probably seen this:

TTS

Who installs and services these in the U.S? Why not get a Turbo Connection turbo?

I'm Richard Albans, owner of TTS. I thought I would update you on the Rotrex conversion. From day one the conversion has been pretty well trouble free but we have made some durability improvements over a period of time, we always try to offer the best we can. From the initial prototype we now offer the conversion fully polished, the crank pulley is secured with a much stronger bolt and the main supercharger support bracket has been increased from 6mm to 8mm stainless steel. This has made the conversion pretty well bullet proof. BUT the biggest change has been to go to the 'Tuneboy' instead of the Powercommander for engine management. It much more sophisticated and enables us to control the secondary butterflies, ignition as well as fueling of each cylinder. BUT more importantly its got rid of a cruising problem the Power commander induced where the engine would intermittently cut when at 8-10% throttle. Dynojet could not help us on this problem. The performance is 240 bhp at the wheel and 200 lb ft torque. If we increase the rev's (which is possible with the Tuneboy) we could see over 260 bhp. Reliability seems very good with no engine or transmission failures to date. For the future we will look at water injection to cool the charge and an in-obtrusive performance adder. The power delivery is perfectly linear with instant throttle response. The conversion comes with comprehensive fitting instructions and 1 year warranty. Hope this helps.

bm, actually since california is such an " if you have one i must get one" state, i'd be glad to volunteer to have one installed on my already the fastest "blue" r3. i personally guarantee you many orders will be placed after i posts pics of mine with your supercharger. these r3 guys are such a jealous bunch.....if that doesn't fly do you take american express ?

blowme,

Do you think the power commander problem is from the secondary throttle plates being forced shut as the super charger is forcing air against them? I don't know what % they are open at 8%-10% throttle.

It depends on which gear and rpm. For the 20054 tune, the least open the secondaries get is 34% in all gears at 2500 rpm. Why would they be forced shut as opposed to open?

If the super charger is forcing air into the throttle bodies, couldn't the secondary butterflies be held in position or forced shut. They are controled by a servo. The tuneboy allows the secondary butterflies to be 100% open, correcting the problem. I may off base on this.
Any thoughts

I've got the Tuneboy mapped and solved the glitch. We are now glitch free. Bikes perform fantastic. AT LAST!
