Buddies R-III W/ High Beam Light Delay

I was riding this weekend to the baseball games here in Louisville, when I ran across a fellow R-IIII rider. NO.. I didn't hurt him... when I ran across him....

Anyway, a funny thing happened on his way to the ZOO.... Literally.. ..
He would switch from low beam to high beam and the HIGH Beam Light indicator would come on - along with his high beam lights. Then when switching back, the high beam light would go out.. but the HIGH Beam light indicator would stay on.. and not go out until it was ready to go out.

Any idea's

When running with the low beam, you can rock down on the rear of the switch to flash your high beam. Maybe high indicator is sticking slightly. A little electrical connection cleaner solvent should free it up.
