My R3 PCIII was instaling just fine as I follwed the directions till I got to PCIII installation #9 "Plug the O2 controller into the stock wiring harness." The O2 controller plug is different than the stock connector plug that plugged into the stock O2 sensor. Is this suppose to be?I looked for 1/2 hour and do not see where the O2 controller can be plugged into the stock wiring harness. Can anybody heip me on this from personal experience. I have TOR pipes and K&N air filters. The Power Commander package says for 2004-2005 Triumph Rocket III. Will I still need to have it remapped? Won't you hep me?

Didn't want to leave your posting not responded to. Plenty of riders have the same set up as yours, I am certain they will provide the answer you need.

My question is how does the Vmax compare to the Rocket?

It is tucked away on the same side of the bike as the computer.Follow the exhaust until you find the sensor and then follow the wires. It will probably be tucked in behind a little plastic cover on the frame.Hope this help

That's exactly where it is, behind the main frame post and the black plastic cover (2 torx screws hold it on) just to the rear of the rear-most exhaust. I found I couldn't get the commander control box to stick well to anything to be honest so I just ttucked it behind the side-panel.
Cheers

The power commander will come with the stock map on it unless you asked for the factory/shop to change it, I had mine delivered with the TOR/No CatBox map already fitted. So, you may need access to a laptop computer to download whatever map you require their website and upload this into your Power-Commander. although you should never have to change the 'Factory Triumph' ECU again, cos as I'm sure you know when you disconnect the PC the Rocket reverts back to the standard triumph ECU and whatever setting you had on it before you fitted the PC3.

My PCIII said 04-05 Rocket on the packaging. First I want to really thank you guys. I should have PM you first before I got myself in a sweat. I found the connection behind the cover plate with the Torx bolts like you said. The bike runs much better. It got rid of the popping on decelleration and does not miss a lick on the acceleration either. I still will get it Dynoed and fine tuned later on.
