Hey, My name is Scott and I just traded in my 06 Speedmaster for a 06 Card Red Rocket. I am just loving life.
I thought the Speedmaster would meet my needs but found out that I was too used to riding larger displacement bikes. The SM was a terrific motorcycles but I found myself riding more and to further destinations than first thought.
Test rode a few other bikes and the Rocket just knocked me out. So here I am.
I am planning on adding a screen and bags, so I will look through the forum and see what I can find and if I have questions I will be sure to ask. I received a tremendous amount of info in the vert twins forum for my speedy.
Talk to you soon
Scott

AG, welcome to the club. I am always facinated by handles. My guess is that you once owned a Guzzi and your hobby is restoring old war ambulances! Nah, I know, you're an ambo!

Be warned Ambo, you will fall deeper and deeper in love with this motorcycle. Every now and then a special bike hits the marketplace and there has never been one as special as the awesome Rocket III. Davo

Welcome Scott. Same happened to me in '04--traded my beloved '98 Tbird. The 'bird was tweaked a bit and no slouch performance-wise or comfort-wise (had done 3 Iron Butts and several trips out west on it).

But rode a Rocket...and that was it
