During a cager road trip from Phly to Dallas, I had the opportunity to visit Memphis on Bike Night. About 300 bikes, 95% HD and a few others on Beale Street. Only two Triumphs that night both speed triples. My daughter and I had a great time, but were disappointed that no RIIIs attended.

Over heard some bench racing discussion about some 2300 cc bike, but that no one in that group had ever seen one. Made a resolution to locate my local bike nights and to show the RIII flag. Still feels really cool to own one.

Every Wednesday eve you will find me and my sons at PJ's pub for the bike night. There are many flavors there and the funny thing is they group together, Harleys & choppers at 1 spot, euros at another and sport bikes at another! I generally park in the middle either on the VMax or Sprint. There are a few Triumphs usually appearing and some neat old BSA and vintage bikes. One guy collects old 70's Hondas and brings a different one each time...they look like they just came out of the crate. There is always something neat to see.

I usually hit a few bike nights a year. Got some pics from the last one I went to a few weeks ago. It's kinda like Wills, we gots all kinds out at ours, but mostly Harleys and customs. On a slow night they have about 100 bikes, I've been before and know there had to be atleast 200 bikes out there! Here's some of the pics... :-D

Met a fellow triple triumphrat member out there, here's our speedy's together...

a few of the customs

nice little mini-truck :-D

more customs

can ya find the speedy's?

and last but not least, a nice custom cage that started life as a early nineties Chevy Caprice!

In Kansas "Bike Night" is "Bike Morning" every 1st Sunday in Cassoday.

Thousands of bikes (every kind imaginable plus a few so weird you wouldn't want to) show up if the weather's good. We've been trying all summer to get several Rockets from this forum to meet up there. We're going to shoot for September 3.
