"How big did you say it was?" No, this isn't the beginning of some bishop and actress joke, but a question you very quickly get used to answering, if you're riding a Triumph Rocket III. A week into riding the new Classic version and I was on the verge of making up a sign to hang on the bike whenever it was parked...

"Yes, it is big," it would say.

" Three cylinders, 2.3 litres."

" Triumph in England...yes, that Triumph."

" Yep, that's bigger than a lot of car engines."


" Yes, it's so fast it will push your eyeballs into the back of their sockets and suck the headlights out of unsuspecting Ferraris on your way past."
