Guys.... help me out please.

1. What aftermarket pipes are the best and quietest? I don't want alot of that HD noise *****! I would like to dump the converters, but if that means alot more noise....forget it....too old and cranky for that BS.

2. Anyone interested in donating their 06 Classic seat (I am assuming you bought aftermarket) or giving it up cheap for a custom seat job I am attempting on my bike. It must be relatively new (foam in perfect shape...don't care about the covering). I am going to custom design ( I do custom leather interiors for hotrods, classics and muscle cars etal) and leather the seat and I will provide a free leather skin (for completely covering the seat) if you are willing to donate the "guinny pig" so to speak. I don't want to be out of commission by using mine for the experiment because it may take a few attempts and weeks to get it right. Also I am going to "logo" the seat with stitched in "Triump" logo in complimenting colors to the bike. This should be pretty cool.

Will post pics when done and perhaps a few of you this winter could send the seats and we can do them for you.

3. I don't have a wiring diagram of the R3. Are the factory fog lamps wired thru a relay or is all the current coming thru the ignition to the handlebar switch. Anyone..??

Thanks for you help guys!

If you don't want too much noise... just go the TORS or Staintune sound neat but not to loud!

I have the Triiumph heated grips and they came with a switchbox for both the grips and the Triumph fog lights....they also came with a bracket to add two relays...one for the grips and I assume one for future fog lights. So to answer your question...it looks to me that the fog lights go to a relay first.

Sound advice (pun intended?) is: If you want a bit more audio pep and a few more ponies without antagonizing your neighborhood and/or having to stuff your ears with plugs on long hauls, take the optional TOR pipes and keep the Cat litter on (it happens to do a decent mufflin' job). Best. Jamie

All traced and eventually caught. Too mad. Foreign breed. Too loud. Some contagious. None curable. All got the shot.

Relieved?
