Hew;
I am with Ridinsunshine... but abbreviated version - Go buy it and then post a message for your self... with that silly GRIN :-D :razz:

that all of us have on our faces.
I am a 6'2", 240 small fella. The height is a bit taller with boots on.
I live in the country and commute about 35-40 miles. Wearing a Suit, Tie, Doo Rag, and Cowboy boots riding an R-III. 80? It's hard to find that number on the dial.. I think that's one of the lower digits I see between 1st and 2nd gear. I have lowers, and Corbin's Trim Tab fairing. I may go with Corbin's Fleetliner fairing when it comes out. I could add the Baker AirWings or maybe the RocketDragSport Fairing if they ever respond to my email.
Interesting 87 Octane? I use premium, and have since day 1... I have never run anything less than premium... 35-37 MPG.
Stock seat SUCKS for my bootie... that's for my bootie.. maybe not for yours. I like firmness I get from a Corbin. That's all I have on all my bikes.
I bought the Triumph Panniers - I replaced them with Beetle Bags. I am paying for the quality and look I wanted. I still have the Triumph Panniers.. but may sell them to someone who wants leather saddlebags.
Heated Grips.. No.. Joe Rocket Nitro Gloves.. all the heat I need.
Cost of Ownership... 500 mile service $150. I spent another $250, just hanging around the store.
Tires...I will say $500 for both Front & Rear, mounted and balanced. I got 9500 off the rear --11,000 off the front.
10000 mile service was comprehensive.. I was there and they checked everything, etc. I posted what that was, but it was about $250.00. Not unreasonable for a bike that is virtually maintenance free. Not unlike my Yamaha Royal Star... 5 year warranty - and maintenance free - just about.
In time, there will be more aftermarket parts, etc. I am working on some brackets to mount a rear trunk that matches the bike extremely well. Hopefully, I can get to that soon.
Hope that helps..
