...has anyone on the forum heard about the Bentley (the Bentley car folk in Crewe, England) painted version of the Rocket 3?

I think I read somewhere that Bentley gave one to the owner of their top selling dealership. They reupholstered the seat and did a custom paint job at their factory. I'll see if I can track down where I read about it.

I can offer a few details ...a specially painted Rocket 3 is avaliable for to the salesperson who sells the most Bentley Arnage models (Arnage T, Blue Train Special Arnage etc.).

The picture I saw on a company site was a 3/4 view from the rear. The bike was painted a deep British Racing Green with some sort of Bentley badging at the rear area of the tank. A value was set at $20k - $21k. There must be more, I just have not seen any or sales is being 'secretive'.

It is awarded as part of a promotional program for Bentley Sales staff and 'cause I am part of the Service side am not eligible. Often there is more info found by the public rather than from internal sites thus the inquiry to the forum

Do you think you can grab that seat for me if you get some time alone with the bike?

Pig9r...thanks for the response and info. When I can find out which dealer staff won the bike, we will see! Though I suspect whoever does get the bike will not part with any bit of it!

I thought the seat was a little overdone, but I wouldn't turn it down. The Bentley paint and logo, though--WOW!

If Triumph want to offer eye-catching factory custom specials, forget that Paul Smith doofus and all his artsyfartsy ilk. Get the Bentley paint team to subtly jazz up some Rockets, and you'll really have something then.
