Visible bodywork seams are a longstanding tradition on classic British vehicles. You thought the Japanese Big 4 invented them? NOT!

For those who don't like the seams naked and find the AutoZone door trim stuff inadequate, I wonder if you can still get the deeper molding that completely covered the seams like they used to put on certain Brit sports cars e.g. Triumph Spitfires. I bet somebody still makes it but might take some savvy googling to track down.

Now, those fender seams on cars like the Spit were definitely part of their "character"
