Mike,
I am about to enter the Rivco scenario you just described. I did not realize I needed to buy all 3 pieces, I thought the Support Bracket took the place of the Link Arms - my bad, but something I can remedy for only $ 90 with shipping!
Do you have any photos of this set-up? I did a quick eye-ball and the brackets don't look like they line up, I am hoping some slight bending won't destroy the chrome plating.
My question has to do with the mounting holes and dimples that are on the bike and also the floorboards. The Support Bracket doesn't have them, will this cause them to shift and move since you only have a single bolt and the tension created by tightening the bolt to hold it in place?
Also, do the Link Arms (extension piece) go on the outside of the Support Bracket or between the bike and the bracket? The instructions I rec'd so far are pretty vague.
Thansk in advance and would love to see some pics if you have any.
Thanks, Scott
