...some aspects of the Rocket leave a little "Quality Control" to be desired. Some of you have questioned certain areas of this before, ( i.e. early rust, paint peeling off, aluminum tarnishing, etc.) Well I found a new one: On the engine casting there are two chrome coated plastic plugs @ 3/4 in. in diameter. One on left rear, the other on rt. front of casting. Well, if they start to rust, tarnish, or whatever - leave them be! I tried to clean mine with chrome cleaner only to find the chrome to have DISAPPEARED ! So now I have 2 "black" plugs where chrome used to be, but that's alright. I'm not complaining It's still an awesome beast ! :wink:

I don't worry too much about the small cosmetic stuff. My motto is "This is a GO bike, not a show bike! :razz:
