Good to hear that you'll still alive and kickin' Solorider. Been wondering what you've been up to but I can see now that the sun is out in Sweden, the daffodils are bloomin' and the grass is green. That means it's time to ride... yeeeha! Davo

yupp.isnt the sun wonderfull.quit mine anti-depressive med and took the baby out.. :-D

but now is has been raining for 4 days so i have painted the garage wall with a "amrikanski" paint called drylock.gonna see tomorrow if my (not)wanted swimming pool is gone... :-D

approx 7.5 usd for 95 octane(gallon=4.5 liters). :-D :-D 6.3 usd for US gallon(3.8 liters)

little numbers for u all.
the bike cost 24 000 usd
insurance 1000 usd
new rear tire 430 usd
oil with filter without the job 150 usd
new front brake pads 164 usd
tax only 24 usd



And i make approx 30 000 after taxes a year.

so stop wining over prices over there in USA... :-D :-D

LOL.....Your gas price would be about like ours if your government took off the taxes. Maybe you need to start wining about that.... :-D :-D

these numbers are from a Swedish magazine.the rocket is a 06 classic

the strip(402m)

rocket 12.87s final speed 180.74
intruder 12.45 final speed 180.59
Kawasaki vm 2000 13.65 final speed 164,22
Yamaha xv 1900 14.28 final speed 156.92

0-100kmh 0-62mph
rocket 4.71
ntruder 4.21
kawasaki vn 2000 5.03
yamaha xv 1900 5,67

0-160kmh 0-99mph
rocket 9.73
intruder 9.20
kawasaki 13.68
yamaha 15.05


70-120kmh(highest gear)
43.5-74.5

rocket 4,75
ntruder 5.91
kawasaki 7.47
yamaha 7.10

both the rock and the intruder are speed limited to 220kmh.

Those seem like some pretty slow numbers for a R3. Anybody out there have any first hand quater mile times? Seems to me like the Rocket was susposed to post in the elevens?

MCN has the Rocket at 11.45, M109 at 11.62. Too close to call stoplight to stoplight in other words. You'll need to be on your game, same as against a V-Roid.
