Brother and I just got back from Myrtle Beach Bike Week. Great weather! Tons of bikes.
Took it as a good omen when we left the motel on Friday morning and the first bike I saw was an immaculate Triumph Thunderbird!
First time to this rally. Definitely a Harley event; however I loved the stares and g-d's when I rolled past row after row of Softtails and Dyna's. With all of the attention my Rocket attracted - I could've sold tickets
Many of the "ol' timers" fondly remembered Triumph from the 60's and I like to think I was re-introducing them to an old friend when we talked about the "new" Triumph.
On Saturday, I wore a bright blue Triumph t-shirt as I walked among thousands of black clad, leather chap wearing Harley riders. Was a sight to see.
Thoroughly enjoyed myself! Rode close to 600 miles in 4 days!
On Saturday, came across one of the Boss Hoss 8 cylinder monster bikes. Had to take a comparative picture. The black bike on the far right is my brother's H-D Fatboy.
