The City has just laid down numerous tar snakes in my neighborhood to repair the aging asphalt....sheesh those things are slippery when new...even when dry....they had both front and rear tire dancin' in the streets.

I keep an eye out for them when I am riding but have never had trouble..till now. Maybe its just when they are new....I will now avoid them like gravel, oil, leaves, tomatoes, fir needles, dead animals, rocks, mattresses, pianos, ladders.....
:-D

They're slippery when they're old too! Specially when it's hot!

Sunshine,
He's dealing with the same thing we deal with in the hot weather when the tar/oil base starts coming to the surface on some of our roads. Makes cornering alot of fun sometimes! :???: The rear of my TBS slid out on a corner like that once.. I rode it out like a flat tracker.. probably looked pretty cool! but I sure did have a hold of that seat with my butt!..
