I just had the dealer install some Kuryakyn grips and now my throttle sticks. It's like having cruise control. Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?
The grips I got are universal, part number 6240 if anyone is interested. They look pretty good.
Thanks,
Rocketray :hammer:

Take it back to the dealer and have them fix it. If that is too much trouble then try the following:

Loosen the bolts that secure the brake/cylinder/throttle assembly, then remove the screws that hold the switch housing so you can separate the two halves. This will expose the throttle cable attachment at the throttle end. Check to see if the cables are attached properly, and move the the throttle assembly back and forth on the bar to see if they loosen up.

If all is good there, check the attachment of the throttle cables underneath the gas tank. You will have to remove the chrome bear claw, prop the tank, remove the bolts that hold the radiator overflow bottle, pull that out a bit and take a look at the attachments.

I just went through this installing my heated grips.
