I was going to use the BS smilely to help convey how i feel about the tailgunners...but alas...due to political correctness, it's gone. I can't wait to laugh my arse off at the first person i see running those!

Why don't they just hang a sign off of their bikes that says "I am a moron"......

As long as they have those.... they should get some of those wheels that have the spinning centers to go along with them.

I am serious... the first time I see those on any bike I am going to die laughing.

Dr. Gatling should turn over in his grave and cut one if that silly thing passes by wherever he's buried.

Hey!, that kid with clickie spokes, that was me!

Ok, I'm the first moron, but at least I ain't skeerd.

My bike has a tailgunner. I like it. I bought the bike a couple months back and it already had the tailgunner installed. Plus many more custom mods. I am changing a few things, but that one, I am keeping.

I like the sound, it's very distinctive. The spinning tips gives it a doppler affect. It's actually a resonator, not a muffler, so it's quite loud without a baffle. Just tame enough to avoid the decibel meter.

In fact, tailgunner uses my bike for thier magazine ad. It's in the august issue of roadbike magazine and several others.

My mechanic said optimum performance comes from a balance between free flow and back pressure. Free flow gives max. peak HP but you lose low end torque. The tail gunner seems to be an interesting concept, even thouh it looks douchie.
