If you are refering to what I call lowers, I have them on both of my bikes. I ordered the Triumph lowers through my dealer. They work great! All the wind buffeting behind the windshield is gone and makes riding more injoyable. Which ever brand you decide on I'm sure you will get similar results. I liked the Triumph lowers because of the cutouts for the blinkers.

Ogre has Baker Airwings on his bike and I think one or two others on this forum. I have the Triumph lowers and can say it removes 95% of the buffeting (I use the Clearview barn door screen in winter).

I will say the Baker Airwings seem really neat because in the summer time you can aim them so they deflect air on to your legs. There is no reason you can't run both at the same time. I imagine that would be pretty good!

That is what I am going to do...I have the lowers and will be getting the airwings soon. My only complaint about the Rocket is the heat off the engine on the right side in hot weather, hopefully the airwings can help with that by directing air on to the headers.

I know you are in California and it is surely hotter than Maryland but even when moving in the summertime the right side bothers you? The ride side only bothers me in stop and go traffic.

I can feel it even at speed......but I am talking about 100 plus degree weather. Even in the 90's though its warmer on the leg than I would like.

Stop and go is the worst though and, of course, the wings won't help with that.

Do you have the Rivco crash guards? How do you plan to mount your airwings?

Yes, I have the Ricvo guards and will mount the airwings on them, although I think you can mount them to the radiator also.

I've given up on having a cool looking bike...all the touring crapola I have mounted has turned my Rocket into a motorhome. The Baker Airwings are the finishing touches for a makevoer into a Dorkocycle. Oh well....I want the comfort more than the cool.

Also have the Triumph lowers and agree they work great, at least in conjuction with the Roadster screen they do. While I can't really call them cheap for what you get, they're probably the biggest accessory bargain Triumph offers in terms of comfort enhancement for the buck!

Updraft coming from below the windscreen is THE most common cause of head buffeting on bikes that have a cruiser-style windscreen. AFAIK there is no way to fix it except with lowers and they have to be the right size and location. Triumph did a good job on these even providing portholes for the turn signals so you don't have to move them. Some people think they look odd, but let's face it the Rocket derives its awesome looks from being oddball even if it turns a few philistine traditionalists off.

Thanks for input. Living in MN I don't have heat issues that often, but the wind buffeting (Roadster Screen) can get brutal at times, so for $60 less I think I'll go with the Triumph Lowers.
