I stumbled on this today. I could of sworn we discussed this bike before but the date on the article is today....

48 Cylinder Motorcycle

From the article "It needs a 75cc “Donkey” motor under the seat to start the 48-cyl engine."

Some of the comments about the bike are funny....

I just don't see how it can run for any length on a hot day as those interior cylinders must get scorching hot... :???:

The builder definitely has to much time on his hands....

I just wonder how the proper fuel mixture gets to each cylinder to run. Each bank has ONE carburetor feeding into what looks like a 6 foot long intake manifold! The carb would have to be set to run VERY rich in order for fuel to reach the farthest cylinder, which would virtuall flood the closest cylinder.

This article has been posted before.. Definintely a guy with too much time on his hands! He must really love those early Kawasaki triples though!

There's no way that monstrosity would run on 2 carbs. It would need some kind of downdraft system.

Did you see the fire extinguisher sitting next to it? :-D

Watch the video... the darn thing runs, it sounds painfully slow to rev. It looks like to me there are 3 carbs on each side... but still. It also looked like in the video that he was putting the air cleaners back on, they were probably pouring gas down the intakes to start it...
