hey,,,,is it only here in Aus or is it going around the world about petrol prices going to almost double in a year? its now about $1.36 Au a litre thats about 4.50 USD a gallon i estimate......

It just does a roller coaster thing in US. I hear it's over $4 USD in a few areas of the US now. Around here about $2.80 but it's been over $3 after the big hurricanes last year then back down to near $2 and I bet it'll be over $3 just in time for summer.

*** can you do about it except ride a bike more and a cage less

We just went over $3.00 a gallon today in the coastal areas of Connecticut. I guess I will just have to make every day casual day at work and ride the Rocket in for the rest of the summer....

Definately it will creep up over $2.00/litre.. Europe is already there! Costs me around $150 to fill the V8 Landcruiser :knkknk:

Gas prices suck! But does give me more of a reason to ride the S3 to work! But then when I want to play, more of a reason not to, considering I do 250-300 miles easily on a nice Saturday ride! Wished there was something we could do, but you know how the saying goes, "the rich get richer!" Btw, right at $3.00 a gall here in NC, USA.

Oh well CB, at least you'll never have to replace your front tire. It never touches the ground! :razz:
