I am giving up on the stock seat this season and going to get the corbin dual tour and need to know where online I can get a decent discount. If I buy directly through Corbin I know I'll pay list.

Any suggestions?

I've always purchased Corbin stuff through my dealer and because he doesn't hate me he gives me a discount... try the parts guy at your dealer. If that doesn't work PM me and I'll try to hook you up but I can't give you specific numbers... only they can...

check ebay also. i know used seats go for about 1/2 what you pay new. I know i've had them, and tried to sell them...good luck.

Thanks Tomo....I was thinking though more along the lines of an internet accessory store. I thought for sure that someone had posted here way back and before the "Fall" that they got their corbin seat online for a discount....maybe not.

Regarding ebay GLW, for me its always been....ixnay on the ebay.....due my concerns about getting ripped off, but maybe I am being to paranoid and should give it a go. I now know a lot of people who have done quite well by ebay. Thanks.

Baxter in the US. Good responsiveness to my long-distance, Corbin-related enquiries. Decently competitive quotes. About equal to Corbin's, but Corbin was only quoting for delivery on US soil. Much more palatable than Corbin (HD?) overseas franchises. I was not begging for rock-bottom discounts, mind you. Good export service, in addition.

What I value.

Baxter was recommended to me a year ago here, by a fellow Rocket Captain. I'd not hesitate to recommend them to you, wherever you are. Regards

When Tom says "his dealer" Baxter is who he's talking about since if I recall right he got his Rocket there. I've bought a lot of stuff from Baxter myself and ditto on them being the best. To actually visit there is the closest thing to a time warp you'll find this side of SciFi Channel, and in the most pleasant sense. In the middle of nowhere, it's the way dealerships once were and ought to be--if you want a part for your 60's Bonneville you won't get laughed at...Randy will hand you the part and maybe ask if you'd like to trade up to a cherry 70's

2dawgs,
Do you still have that Corbin seat? If so, does it have the rivets around the sides? Thanks...
