Any of you guys have a extra headlight lens laying around? :-D I know, sounds like a dumb question, but I found out that the S3 and Rocket III are the only one's with the exact same lens, and they cost over $80 brand new!!! I had a freak'n rock or something bust mine on the right. If any of you have a extra one, I'd be willing to buy it off of you. Just trying to save some $$$, hence my screen name! :-D

Hey Cheap, we sell some headlight protectors at Aussie Biker
These have saved one of my headlights at least once! Cheap insurance and there must be someone Stateside making these things. If not, I can ship to you. Davo

Hey Cheapbastard...

That is just a 5 inch headlamp housing... go to an autoparts store and see what they have in a five incher, they may have a sealed beam (you need high/low) for cheap... they may have fancy artsy stuff for more. If ya just want to get back on the road and don't ride much at night the sealed beam for probably $5 will get her done... And remember, if your remaining light burns out or gets broken your bike won't crank over... I wouldn't screw around... :hammer:

I would take the broken lamp with the bulb with you to make sure the plugs are the same..

Thanks for all the replies fellas! Valkryie111, I've sent you a pm. Seems like a great group on this forum. I hope to join you guys for more than a favor before too long. Hopefully with questions on my own Rocket III. I've been dying to ride one for a quite a few months now, so think I'm going to have to schedule that test ride at the dealer! Once again, thanks for the replies!

: : Valkryie111 : : you 'da man! Now that I'm in great debt to you, and for this reason only, I will go test ride the Rocket III! :-D Although I probably won't like the 140 ft.lbs of torque or the measely 130 horsepower that this bike puts to the ground, I will test ride it, because you have asked that of me. :-D Even though this bike weighs almost twice as much as mine, and still gets down the 1/4 mile in almost the same amount of time, I will just have to bear with it, and do it, because I owe ya! So getting me to test ride it, is not a problem, only because I owe ya. But, what the heck am I supposed to do when I fall in love with it just as I did my S3 after riding it?!? :???: Who's going to pay the bill? Dang you Triumph, you money hungry bastards!!! Quit trying to take all of my $$$!!! What's next? Is someone going to make me vow to test ride the 675? Alright, rant over, I just want way tooo many bikes! :-D Muchos Gracias once again, Valkryie111. I'll report back on my test ride once I get the chance to do it!

Going to the really cheap side - you say busted not cracked - so you couldn't attempt a repair using the auto parts store lens repair clear glue stuff because the lens split with missing pieces etc?
