thanks for the welcome to the R3 Forum Guys. As Aussiebikerdave mentioned we happen to be neighbours. After having seen Dave's black R3 a few times I got inspired to get back into motorcycling again. Last bike was a 94 FXD, sold about three years ago. I purchased a 02 ST Sprint about six weeks ago and think it's a great bike however found the riding position a little uncomfortable. To cut it short I have ended up buying a 06 red rocket with very low klm. [owner was going o/s] To say i'm blown away by the rocket is an understatement. Having owned 15 or 16 bikes previously nothing comes close to this machine. I now know what all the fuss is about. The R3 forum is fantastic and I will contribute where I can. Safe riding to all.
Brian :-D

You and me are sort of kin now. We both bought Red Rockets second hand. I bought lots of extra goodies for my Rocket, with the saving I had buying used.

Hope to hear good ole downunder stories just like Davo has.

All the hd spares went out the gate with the bike. I even gave the buyer my hd leather vest! I'm looking forward to customising my Rocket with some of the great after market gear thats available down under. :-D
