A question on pipes for dave if i fit maddogs (which i will ) is if i leave cat litter box on... and fit maddogs will i have to load another tune? i have a 06 r3....

IMHO i like the looks of the way maddogs fit on the bike..

Rob, In our experience, you don't have to download another tune. We advise to do the "12 minute tune" and the simple instructions for this proceedure which can be done at home, are included with the fitting instructions.

I ran my own Rocket for 20,000kms with Mad Dogs with just the 12 minute tune then one day I happened to be at the Triumph dealer chatting to the tech. He offered to install the 20056 tune which he did however there was no noticeable difference in the way the bike ran, the amount of popping on deceleration or the colour of the exhaust deposits at the slash-cuts. It's all good!

Hey Chazzman
If you are reasonably handy with workshop tools have a look at a posting by Starman 19/8/05 . They are the best sounding pipes of all , on mine with the cat removed and a 20054 tune I get 40 MPG at speed two up . The bike still looks original as well which I think is a bonus .
