Are there any German readers out there that can tell me if this "sport model" is factory or aftermarket. If factory, why don't we have one in the states?!?!?Rocket III Sport Model

I love the very rearward pegs and sport bike seating position. Check out those handlebars and the front fender I like!!

I like that too. I thought it was some company's custom job, not a stock Triumph model.

My wifes cousin Armand from Germany said it's factory, but I am having trouble wrapping my arms around the fact that it's not offered in the USA or that it's factory. Armand is a Triumph and BMW man so he should know, but still........ :???:

The German version of the Triumph Co website doesn't show it.

It seems to be one of the Rocket 3 specials created by this German Triumph dealer http://www.gerhardmoerk.de
I wonder if they sell the parts to make your own??

Yes Aero, it would be nice to see how a Rocket feels as a sport bike. I'm not ga ga over the current position(American cruiser style), as i prefer upright or forward for back and butt comfort. Seems real natural to be angled forward on very fast bikes....oh yeah, thanks for the link. Now if only i could read it!

I used Babelfish to translate the text. Some of the words can't be translated and the grammar can be hilarious but you get the gist of what they are saying....

Only one out of three or four German Triumph dealers (see my earlier posts about Rebholz Triumph aka Palatina, for instance) doing mostly what the Germans refer to as "Optik Tuning". Triumph has nothing at all to do with it.

Jamie: 1. Armand: 0 :-D

PS. Rear sets, Raasks, Moerk, Basset or Palatina, are a torture without a much increased saddle height !!!
