Hi All

I did a 400 km breakfast run yesterday which means that my R3 is finally run in. YES MAN !!!!!

I am getting a sore coccyx and have been told that my handlebars are too far back . By moving them forward slightly I will lift pressure from that area .Does this sound right ?

I tried adjusting the shocks thinking they were too hard but it didnt help.

What great bikes we ride !!!!

Regards

Try it.. I was looking at the Rivco riders because my bars were just a bit farther forward than I liked. But, I just loosend the handlbar clamps and rotated them back a bit and they are perfect now. You could do the same thing.. loosen the clamps, and rotate them forward a bit until they feel about right and tighen them down again...

I had set-back handle bars put on mine. They were on the demo I rode and my honey like them too. He didn't realize until he rode the demo that his handle bars were not comfortable. So he had them put on his Rocket that day.

Advice: Do not pull back the standard bars unless you have installed Rivco or other risers. If you do, the bottom part of the bar horns will dent the tank when you do tight manoeuvers, before you realize it. We had a couple of " warning-after-the-fact " posts here to that effect months ago. Best

That is true... I turned my forks full tilt, then gently rolled the bars back, making sure they did not hit the tank at full turn.
