Rossi does it after a poor last race , but great to see Hayden pushing all the way .

Italian riders on top now for 11 races .

And Rossi equals the wins of the great aussi Doohan .

"Vale" Rossi had to work unusually hard, though, IMO. What would Yamaha be without him? Hayden no longer giving up half way through the race, as he used to. And the Dukes finished third and fourth. Fourth being Giberneau. Commendable after both his 2005 debacle as Honda-mounted Rossi contender and his morale-shattering, false 2006 start 2 weeks ago.

You saw the lead Suzuki rider, Hopkins. I think, beating the living s*** out of the fairing of his failed Rizza-sponsored Suzuki?

Passion. Luv it.

Might not be as clear cut as that. Look at the Ducati's podium results in the last 6 or seven MotoGP's as well as the pre-season testing at a variety of different tracks. I am picking that Ducati will collect the mftr's award this year and one of it's riders, the world championship.

It will be good for the spectacle and the sport if Ducati could crack the Nipponese stranglehold. Davo

PS Hopkin's show of kiddie temper will last long in the memory of his bosses at Hammamatsu. I wonder what he's going to be riding next year!

PPS we have some forum members who are a little sensitive to knowing the race results before the telecast so it might be a good idea not to reveal the outcome in the thread topic heading in future. Last time it was my fault for which I copped a roasting

Yes. We've gone through that before. Yet, it's hard not to share enthusiasm with each other. Mine turns a bit stale 24 hours later anyway

Feel free to share your enthusiasm on European and Australian message boards for the first 24 hours. Sites that are US or International such as this site have posters who can't view the race until the next day because we apparently value NASCAR over everything

Or at least just make the Topic Title Qatar Results or something similar so that Captains who don't want to know the results yet are warned off. We went through this last year and again a couple weeks ago. I just don't think it is possible to get this kind of cooperation, no matter how well intentioned everyone is on this site. (And they are.) Myself, I think I'll just do like I did last year - limit my visits to this site during the season.
That being said; It's great to see Hayden looking like he really has the fire in his belly this year.

Who the bleep is this Stoner kid? At this rate I may admit to being 1/4 Australian! Maybe.

Now that Hopkins has been televised kicking the snot out of his broken Suzi, where do you think he'll find a ride next year?

Why isn't Edwards up there with the leaders anymore?

Seemingly waiting for Valentino's ' much-rumored move to Formula One, to become Yamaha's number one rider
(BTW, where are you Max Biaggi? )
