Ulysses Aratula Rally

Caught up with a bunch of rocketeers including Steve (StephenJ) at the Aratula Rally today. Held under cloudless skies at the Aratula pub, about an hour south of Brisbane, the opjective was to see how many bikes could ride through the bar in a certain amont of time. They were saying the current record belongs to a pub in Sturgis with 300 and something but today the record was done like a dinner.

The joint was packed with about 3000 bikes in attendance (my guess) and they reckon about 1300 registered at five bucks a pop to ride through the bar. Monies went to Arthritis research Taskforce. Great day was had by all. Davo

Just catch the next shuttle and bail out with fire proof parachute after 60 minutes! You should land somewhere near Ayres Rock. Dial me up on the cell phone when you arrive and I'll give you directions to Aratula! Davo

Davo, sorry i didn't see you go mate i would of helped you pack up.we stood around till 11pm living the past ,telling lies &drinking beer,it got a bit cool sleeping in the middle of the paddock in the swag.A great time had by all, no trouble a great day to ride home .approx 1350 bikes through the bar,should be bigger next year
