Toystoretom, robbierob, pig9r and others who might have been sent a pm re going to Cassoday meet on Apr 2: Looks like there might be some "scattered" thunderboomers Sunday but I still plan to go (unless there's a big wall of water like we had last fall when we tried to do Cottonwood Falls).

If nobody has a better idea, will be at Beto Junction travel plaza (where I-35 and US-75 meet--can't miss, it's the only thing of any consequence there) around 7:45 and head out to Cassoday at 8am.

ALL Rocket riders (or riders on anything else for that matter--I keep some pretty sorry company  ) are welcome to meet up and ride along. Should be a nice ride if the weather will cooperate.

Would like to make a good showing of Triumphs at Cassoday this time--weren't many at the March one

Arr! Would love to join you all, Swanee, but I'm stuck down in Georgia through this weekend. (At least the Rocket's here with me, so that's some compensation.) Maybe in May?

It's gonna be May for me also... I am going to plan on that one..

Don't let that stop the rest of you guys though, it sounds like Sunday's weather will be OK if there is nothing in the early AM...

That's ok Tom. Might make stopping at Beto to meet up with Triumph riders a semi-regular thing this season. May is a really big Cassoday if weather smiles. I go there every chance I get.

If weather looks good for May we'll advertise it more. Like I said in previous message, I'll be at Beto this Sunday unless weather is BAD and heading on to Cassoday ~8am.

I'm in Topeka. The Beto Junction travel plaza at 75/I35 is a good location for KC/Topeka/Lawrence riders to meet up if going to Cassoday. Hope the rain is outa here by Sunday morning!

OK May it is--let's get a convoy of Rockets. Since no takers this time I'll probably ride the RK down this time--it's already dirty and looks like roads will be wet at the very least.

What is the draw to Cassoday Kansas. Is there some kewl biker bar or an image of the Virgin Mary appearing on tumbleweed wedged in a barbed wire fence?
