Ok guys....pretty simple question, Is Rocket ownership related to a mid life crisis? Do we all, after getting an earfull from the misses head down to the garage with a beer, put the radio on and start polishing the beast? sit on it? take our own pics of us sitting on it?.....do we all long for that weekend to get away and show the beast off to all comers?

I am thinking most owners are 40 plus, with a few bucks saved up and want to be counted again, to stake our claim in society again, to be counted!!

comments?

I'm 57. I had the same crisis when I was 20.

It's only a crisis if you crash it.

since you never know how long you are going to Live you should treat every day as a mid life crisis

Lifes too short....

I wouldn't have been able to afford a $15,000+ motorcycle when I was in my 20s' and even into my 30's, but I can now.. and I'm not out of my 30's..... well, not yet anyways..

I didn't have a $15K motocycle when I was 20. I bought a Triumph TR6R in London for $900.

I bought my Rocket as a 30th birthday present . . and at the mo is my only transport (apart from public that is !),

One of those decisions that made no sense, like one of those girlfriends you really know is bad for you, but you cant help yourself

At 56 I wish I was midlife, I think I'm past that point. However, I have never grown up, so technically I am still immature.

I ahve had bikes all my life and the Rocket was a natural progression. Now the Daytona 675 that is coming in a few weeks is a gift for my 40th this summer. What a garage with the super lightweight and super heavyweight champions!

Same resumé, except the Daytona was for my 57th birtday. If that's mid life crisis, may the crisis go on

Hey Mike, we suffer from the same problem... same age and same immaturity. I think IceT's summation is pretty correct in all points as well! Davo
