OBD II scanners that is? And what are you getting to show up? RPM A/F, MPH, O2, what else?

Thanks

I have a generic scanner... I forget the name on it (its at the shop right now and I'm not), but most OBD II functions show up on it. This one will show Error Codes - Freeze Frame - Erase, and Data from a custom list or all Data. The data includes things like engine RPMs, engine temp, % throttle opening, O2 sensor voltages, mass air flow voltage (the Rocket doesn't have one), MAP sensor voltage, Battery voltage and so on. Calsonic I think??? Is the brand name??

I also have some other very high dollar scanners (Snappy and Nissan Consult) along with "Some Data" (All Data) and these supply you with so much more info and have so many more features... but you get what you pay for... Its something like $200 verses $7000. For the Rocket I would suggest the next thing above a simple code reader... code readers don't display any data at all, all they give you is OBD II codes and "erase"... not very useful when diagnosing stuff or working on something...

That looks like it would work just fine... also looks to be useful on cars..

I like the part about most states using OBD II data for their emissions testing, and stating if you have a check engine light on you will automatically fail that test.... so all you need to do is clear the light and go in and get tested. The problem is... the system runs SRT's.. System Readiness Tests.. and you clear these also if you cancel any OBD II error codes. When the inspector sees your SRT's are incomplete he flunks you anyway... he knows what's going on... its hard to kid a kidder :-D
