Almost a Captain

Well on Saturday I towed the Legend up to Great Bay in New Hampshire and turned it in for a new home. Signed the contract for the new Silver Rocket. Had the hot grips and rack installed. Will pick up bike when weather warms up in late March early April. She looks great.

I will really miss the Legend, rode a lot of good miles on that Bike. Rocket is the first new bike I have ever bought. Also the only one I did not pay cash for. OUCH.
Don't have the bike but I have the payment book.

I have my room at North Creek and look forward to meeting some of you. Got to get some miles on her before Sturgis in August. Gotta show the Harley boys a real bike.

Our local weather idiot seems to think there will be no more snow and Spring will start very soon here in KC.... since he's almost always wrong we are doomed

Part of my problem is the only day I can pick it up is a Saturday, and on the next three Saturdays I have to chaperone our town ski trips.

I am thinking of the secadam windscreen and the corbin bags, russell seats, and the rivco passenger footboards and relocators. Also the Rivco engine guard.

I can spend the waiting time ordering parts and fixing my daughter's Honda 125 which I suddenly cannot get running.
