This is what the owners manual calls the small light bulbs at the bottom the headlight fixture. What are they for? Are they for light adjustment? :???:

I think they are pilot lights. The old triumphs had them. The original reason for them is during WWII when there were mandatory black outs during german bombing raids. The pilot lights were dim enough not to allow visibility from the air but bright enough to see a bike was on the road in the dark on the ground. Now they function as parking lights, there should be a position for the key to turn them and the tail light while the bike is off.

That is right. They turn on when you turn the key past the fork lock position.

They are parking lights, I rewired mine so they come on with ignition instead of both headlights as the headlights draw too much current. I installed a togle switch so I can turn on headlights when needed.
