If you can duplicate the no start situation at home you might be able to find the problem.
If you turn on the ignition and the fuel pump runs for a few seconds, by looking at the wiring diagram , it would appear that you are getting power to the starter switch. If the fuel pump doesn't run... email me...
Wiggle the wires to what the others have said while holding down the starter button... you will have to have an assistant hold the button down while you wiggle wires... the kill switch, the sidestand switch, the starter button...
Make sure both headlamps are on, if for whatever reason both headlamps are dark the starter won't operate..
Under the right sidecover are two relays... the one twords the front of the bike is the starter relay. Hold the starter button down and tap on that relay with a screwdriver handle.. if it starts you will need a new relay..
And like tmiller11147 said...check the battery connections, and check the battery itself... it may be failing under a load intermittantly... you can do this by turning on the ignition and observe your headlamps... if they don't come on or are very dim, and later they are bright... this may be the problem..
If none of this helps email me and I will forward you a wiring diagram... if you are no good with those it will be off to the dealer....
