Hi fellow rocket riders. I ride with about 10 harley riders here in Las Vegas. Everywhere we go I seem to catch all the attention on my red rocket 3. Sunday one if my friends bought the turbo rocket 3 that was for sale on e bay. I had the pleasure to ride that BEAST, something I will never forget. The gentlemen who sold it said it has 229HP on the dyno.

Is the increased performance worth the 5k?
I'm sure off the line it is really noticable...
Just curious about the mid to upper end range.

Triumph dealer off 309 in PA has a 2005 tribal orange turbo on the floor - 200 plus HP. Nice installation, barely notice the tubo where the cat box was.

I don't understand how the bike is tuned with a turbo. Does the turbo change the A/F? If so, don't you need to remap the ECU?

The only thing that bugs me about a turbo on a Rocket is that the air intake for the turbo sits just in front of the rear tire. True, it has a filter on it, but that seems like unsanitary place to be sucking in air or even water.

the person that sold the bike has a health related balance problem. I rode the bike very easy in first, second the hit half throttle in third and the wheel broke loose so I let off.

His bike feels in third like mine in first. It starts kicking around 2500rpm. If you have the ba--s to ride it its well worth the extra $.
