I have found that picture on a French site.
A new version of the 3 individuals air filters.



Unable to find the owner of the bike at that time.

Not bad. I have occasionally contemplated 1) painting those chrome dunes 2) replacing them with the Palatina home-baked carbon alternative 3) modifying them, e.g. by punching breathing holes in them, a bit like on your pic, or making them look like brushed aluminium .

My current conclusion is that "as is", however overstated or flashy or kitsch they look, they bravely compete for attention with the r/h side of the bike. Best :wink:

Exposing the filters helps define the purpose of the bearclaw to the uninformed public and boy does it look nice.
Functional as well.
