Where did you get the dresser rails? I thought Triumph didn't actually produce them as when I tried to purchase them last year my dealer couldn't associate the part number with an actual product.

Pretty Nice! Congrats! If they didn't have yellow or blue the grey would be my first choice.

The tire is a Yokohama AVS ES100 225/55-16.

The rails I got when I ordered the bags and shield @ MCC Villa Park, IL. They can get them within a week

that tyre has a nice rounded look, it would be my pick...how does it handle? you need to relocate your number plate to get the fat back look

Since I am a newbie I can't email a few people yet that had questions so here goes the response...

hornblower & ice-t & others

I went with the Yokohama AVS ES100 225/55-16, I was also comparing the different tires available but really liked the profile and dual tread types the ES100 has, the tire is rounded on the outer edges with softer compound and harder compound down the middle. It is rated with the F1 tire for performance and grip with good wet weather traction. I actually rode in white-out condition snow and rain later in the day this past weekend and it handled great. I went with a car tire due to a blowout at only 230 miles on my new bike. There is some getting used to leaning side to side through turns but this tire sticks a lot better than stock. I have put about 200 miles on the new tire and is accustomed to the new inputs and tracking. I hope this helps you with your choice...

Oh, try and get a tire with a 55 profile instead of 50 since the 50 is smaller than stock tire overall and will place the rear lower than stock by a little bit, it will also offset your rpm and mph, the 55 is very close to stock and keeps the bike parallel to the ground so the front rake does not change.

I am working on getting the lic. and turn signals moved higher to get the tire noticed.

who makes the bag on the back of the sissy bar? looks great and would add nice room for stuff on a long trip, especially when carrying a rider.

thanks.

ride on

Rockethead - look at www.newr3.com. They have a tag relocation kit that's real nice. I have it on mine and love it.
