Turbo Kit

How about an update on drive-ability? How many miles on this setup? Any issues since the setup? MPG?

Taking the plunge soon and want some real world info...

I still cannot understand why fuel economy is an issue, we have bought the largest displacement bike in the world, fuel economy would have to be the last thing to worry about.
It is amazing the number of people talking to me about the Rocket that the subject comes up, it always does, I just tell them that when it needs fuel I fill up, to me, very simple

The only reason I asked about the mpg is that when I did my own vtx turbo kit the bike actually got better gas mileage with a 50% increase in torque and HP. Just wanted to know if it was the same for the R3.

I also have a WRX STI for a cager and when I cruise the car gets about 26mpg but when the turbo sings then it drops to around 8-12mpg.

Just thinking out load.
thanks

The mileage thing is Vondbond's fault... If the Rocket got 100 mpg he'd still be complaining.

Here is the E Gay link... email the guy and ask him about it..

Talking about MPG, is not only a question of money but also the bike range consideration.

Sometime it's not very easy to find fuel in the middle of nowhere and a 250 / 300 kms range is a minimum for me to travel without always looking after gas stations.
